Scholarships for industrial training institutions (ITIs) or scholarships for vocational training are intended to help Indian students continue their education while pursuing an ITI diploma or vocational training programmes at approved ITIs. To improve their professional abilities in a variety of job-related disciplines like fashion design, plumbing, electronics, carpentry, healthcare, bookbinding, etc., many students choose to enrol in vocational courses at various government as well as private ITIs each year. ITI scholarships or scholarships for vocational courses must be on your search list if you also want to update your professional skills and enrol in a training programme.

Find below some of the well- known scholarships for ITI /Vocational courses along with Eligibility criteria.

Residents of community catchment regions surrounding all CLP Indie RE Assets company locations (Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana) are eligible to apply for the CLP India Scholarship Programme.

• They must be enrolled in courses leading to a diploma, ITI, postgraduate degree, graduation, or postsecondary vocational training.

· The applicant’s family cannot own a four-wheeler, an LED TV, or an air conditioner.

Students in grades 6 through 12 who are enrolled in undergraduate, diploma, polytechnic, ITI, postgraduate, or PhD programmes are eligible to apply for the HDFC Bank Educational Crisis Scholarship Support.

• They must have had a personal or family catastrophe in the previous three years that has put them in fear of dropping out.

The Prime Minister Scholarship Programme is available to widows and dependent children of former members of the Coast Guard and the military.

• They must have applied for admission during the first year of a technical or professional diploma or degree programme.

• They must receive at least 60% of the possible points on the qualifying exam.

Students enrolled in certificate programmes and degree programmes from classes 5 through 12 may take the National Scholarship Exam (NSE), which is a scholarship examination.

Scholarship Programme for HP Udaan — To be eligible for a 1-year scholarship, students must be enrolled in a 1-year ITI/diploma programme and earn at least 60% of the possible points in class 10.

• To be eligible for a 2-year scholarship, students must have completed at least 60% of their classwork in class 10, be enrolled in class 11 or a 2-year diploma/ITI/polytechnic study.

• To qualify for a 3-year scholarship, a student must be enrolled in their first year of college and have earned at least 60% of the possible points in their 12th grade class.

Post-High School Scholarship Programme for Minorities Students from underrepresented groups may apply for this grant.

• They must be enrolled in courses leading to a class 11, class 12, graduation, postgraduation, technical or vocational training, an M.Phil., or a PhD.

• 50% is the required minimum percentage on the prior exam.

· Their family’s annual income must be less than INR 2 lakhs.

Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship Programme- Students must have completed class 12 with at least a 60% grade point average and a family income of less than INR 5 lakhs to be eligible to apply for the scholarship for diploma or graduate-level studies.

• To be eligible for the scholarship for vocational courses, students must have completed their class 12 exams with at least a 60% grade point average and a family income of less than INR 5 lakh per year.
